Howard Payne is calling for applications for the fourth annual Summer Research Symposium. The purpose of this symposium is to provide students with laboratory experience prior to their attending university. This program lasts for four weeks during July in which you will be partnered with another applicant as well as an HPU student researching a current topic in STEM. At the conclusion of the research opportunity, students will have the opportunity to present their results to their family and friends.
Applications are due April 30, 2025.

Please understand that applying does not guarantee acceptance to the internship. If accepted into the internship, more documentation will be required prior to working in the laboratory. These potentially include a photograph release, safety introduction, and signatures from applicant and guardian. A formal interview must be conducted prior to working in the laboratory to ensure any exposure to potential allergens is limited. This is a paid internship.
